 Abstract:  The major portion of the collection contains instructional bulletins, lecture notes, and printed materials that were used by the Fred Harvey Company for training couriers. These bulletins demonstrate the depth of knowledge that a courier was expected to master and convey to travelers during the tours. Most of the materials relates to northern New Mexico sites. Additional materials include maps and trip logs, expenses for one of her trips, and four black and white photographs, chiefly posed group portraits of individuals in courier dress.

 Abstract:  The Ken Wolfgang collection is comprised of materials created by Ken Wolfgang in the production of travelogue and corporate films produced by his film company, Kensharo Productions which was based in Sonoita, Arizona. The Collection is comprised of prints and camera negatives of completed films, such as The Japanese Sword as the Soul of the Samurai and Austrian Reflections, as well as excess and outtake footage shot on various formats. The collection also includes photographic materials which document the production of his various travelogue films in locations such as India, Japan, Austria, and Mexico as well as images and negatives of Arizona, Tucson, and the United States. Other materials represented in the collection include promotional materials for films, scrapbooks, and artifacts such as samurai swords and traditional Japanese Ceremonial Clothing. The collection also contains materials from the production of Tucson Then and Now, an unpublished manuscript that detailed the history and development of the Tucson, Arizona region.

 Abstract:  This collection includes materials related to the Mexican Journeys travel group, led by Henry W. Taylor. Mexican Journeys gave tours in Mexico and South America, circa 1930-1950, for tour groups and university students seeking university credits over the summer vacation season. Materials include a travel publication and two scrapbooks. These materials were collected by Loraine Dury of Green Bay, Wisconsin, who was a member of the 1940 Mexican Journeys membership.

 Abstract:  The Fred Harvey collection documents the business activities of the Fred Harvery Company. The collection consist of approximately 2,000 black and white photographs depicting exterior and interior views of hotels, eating houses, railroad stations and news stands operated by Fred Harvey; a scrapbook;two guest register books; blueprint plans for news stands;a ledger book records some Grand Canyon operations, 1906 to 1933; and correspondence.
